The Scope
Gutters, roof and wall flashing, fascia, and custom stainless steel fabrication on an active hospital. The work happened right at the emergency entrance. The building stayed open the entire time.
The Challenge
The ER entrance couldn’t shut down. Not for an hour, not for a morning. Every work zone had to be blocked off and controlled daily, coordinated with hospital staff so patients and staff could get through.
Existing conditions didn’t match drawings. The crew adjusted in the field, fabricating custom stainless steel components to align with what was already there. Field soldering kept concealed systems intact where standard connections wouldn’t work.
Partway through the install, the crew found existing leak points. They repaired them as part of the scope to make sure the whole system was sound, not just the new work.
The Result
Finished within the timeline. No disruption to hospital operations. Leaks resolved. New work tied cleanly into existing systems. The job led to follow-on work for the Orthodontics building.
