What to Know About Central AC

Oregon summers used to be mild enough that a lot of homes got by without air conditioning. That changed. The 2021 heat dome made it clear — AC isn’t a luxury anymore for most Valley homes.

Central AC works with your existing furnace and duct system. The same ducts that carry heat in winter carry cool air in summer. If your home already has ductwork, adding or replacing a central AC unit is usually straightforward.

If it doesn’t, a ductless mini-split is probably the better answer. We’ll tell you which makes sense for your situation.
