The Scope
Foundation flashings, window and door trim, fascia metal, gutters, downspouts, and a new roof system on a winery that people would actually look at. This wasn’t a building that could hide imperfect work behind a dropped ceiling. Everything had to be clean, straight, and weathertight.
The Challenge
Roofing had to go on fast to get the building dry before weather closed in. Framers, plumbers, and electricians were all working at the same time, and every phase of the building depended on the others staying on schedule. When the framing turned out not to be straight, the crew didn’t work around it. They installed extra furring to give the sheet metal a true, clean line. Nobody asked them to. It’s just how the work gets done.
The Result
Job finished on time. Small punch list. CD Redding saw what Santiam could do on a high-visibility project.
