Hard-earned know-how, from our shop to your home.
On a misty Salem morning, you might spot our white trucks parked outside a job—ladders up, tools humming, steam curling out of the sheet metal shop. That’s Santiam. We’ve been keeping Salem comfortable since 1994, one furnace, one heat pump, and one custom duct at a time. No corner-cutting. Just the kind of work we’d want done in our own homes.

BTN of Oregon isn’t just any customer—they’re one of the largest Christmas tree growers in the world, a family business that’s been running since 1958 and ships hundreds of thousands of trees each year from their Salem farm to destinations as far as Hawaii and Asia.
In the middle of an August heat spike, the AC in BTN’s server room failed. Those servers run the systems that track, schedule, and ship millions of trees. Downtime wasn’t an option. We moved fast. Dylan was on site after hours, troubleshooting the rooftop unit while the sun was still cooking the metal. He got the server room stable before the temperature spiked any higher.
The next afternoon, Ethan came in to tackle a second unit, making sure BTN’s systems stayed cool, steady, and online. That quick turnaround meant their operation didn’t miss a beat. Orders kept moving, shipments stayed on track, and BTN’s team could focus on what they do best: growing and delivering world-class Christmas trees.
